To put a Satin stitch around a design.
IF you do not have a Embird EOF file, open
your design in Embird editor.
At the top left click on Edit. Them click on Edit
in Studio.
When the design open in Studio you will see lots of
files on the right side.
Hold the Ctrl and A key down on your key
board at the same time. This will select all of
the files on the right side.
Right click on the files and click on
group 1.
You will now have only one file. We are only
going to use this as a guide to see how big to
make the Satin Stitch.
Click on the outline tool and left click on the edge of
the hoop.
Go up to the top and click on Shape, now click on
Ellipse 16 Elements.
Left click off to the side of the design, holding the Ctrl
key down drag your mouse out to the size you want it
to be. You can resize it and center it later.
Once you get it close to the size you want right
click and click on to Elements.
Now click on you space bar on
your keyboard.
You should now have a outline around the
design. You can click on each design on the right
side and move them around. And you can click
on one of the Corner of the outline to make it
smaller or bigger. make sure you use a corner. It
is best if you do this at this step.
Make sure that you have the outline select on the
tool bar on the right side.
Click on Convert at the top.
Click on Create Column from Outline.
This is something you will have to play with  on
how wide you want the Satin to be. You can
left or right click on the number to change it if
you do one and it don't look good just delete it
and redo it.
You will see that you now have 2 outline on the
right tool bar. The first one is the first one we did
and the second one is the one we just did.
You can now select the second  outline and right
click and Generate stitches. If you are happy with
the width of the outline.

We can delete the first outline. if you are not happy
with it delete the second outline and redo the
column part.
Once you have everything looking good, You can delete
the file that we bought in from Embird editor we don't
need it any more at this time.
Will the Column select on the right side, Click on File and
Save as to save a EOF file of the column. Now click on
Design, And compile and put into Embird Editor.
Your column or Satin stitch will now be in Embird Editor. Click
on file and Merge and bring in your design that you want to put
this on. Move each design around to where you want them.
Once you are happy with it click the Ctrl and A key on your key
board to select both of them  and click the join button. Now you
can click on file save as take it to your sewing machine and sew
it out..
